When you have joy and heart in your work, you are doing your purpose. Working at what you love is a beautiful thing and possible when you are working in concert with your purpose in life. There is nothing better than having joy in your job your soul resonates with it when that is in the work that you’re doing. If you’re religious, the scripture says that work is a gift of God. Knowing and accepting that means that you will find soul and meaning in the work that you do with purpose.

It is a gift to be doing the work that you love, and the never-ending search for that work for everyone is not easy. It is so easy to become slack in your work if it is not what you desire to be doing. When you work with heart in everything that you do and take ownership for what you’re doing it can become easier if you strive to do your best. Allow your heart to guide you knowing that other and better things are in store for you if you are not where you want to be now that will come but only if you have put your heart and soul into whatever it is that you do.

You must meet your natural talent and desires head on because if you don’t, it can be tempting to slack off and make excuses. When you can invest in you and the task of the work at hand, you can begin to build relationships; it will take you much further in the long run. Every work opportunity offers you something that you will be able to use for the good of all, later on, think in that way. Look upon the work that you do at this time that is not in alignment with what you feel, what you want to do is to make it a gathering of tools and gifts that you can implement later on in your leadership role.

Having joy and heart in your work leads to your purpose. When you know that people tend to define you by your work, it will lead you to do your best in everything that you do. People will ask you “what do you do?” What you do is to make it your power of presence and stand tall allowing your light to shine through, showing the essence of you in your work regardless of the type of work. Stand in your “God-given power.” Your job does not define you, the heart of what you do and how you do it is how you are defined. Only you know that your purpose reaches far beyond what people see at the moment, it is a work in progress and you are in the process of assembling all the tools that you’ll need to walk into your purpose when that time comes. Remind yourself that you belong to the Universe and your Purpose is in alignment with your heart and that bring you joy and fulfillment.

Until the next time my friend, take good care and be well.
