Why It Is Important why That You Be Coded For Service!
The one and only “Jean Houston” said that we are all God’s seed, and we are all coded for service, how beautiful and it stuck with me. It stuck because our purpose is to align our personality with our soul and it only wants to be of service and to be used for good. Personal development relates to and ties right into that way of thinking. The spirit that is within you is seeking, and it is attached to hope, which is the light of you waiting to surface.
We cannot lose our purpose it is always there within us, and it wants to be used to be of service. When you begin to connect with your purpose as you start your journey many times you will say I don’t know how to do this but, something inside of me does. Once you can speak to yourself in that manner, you are aligning yourself with your purpose. When that starts gradually, fear slips away, and the path you embark on will have a knowing that will take you where you need to be.
The world needs more excellent service and when you are in alignment with your purpose that is the only service that you can offer. You hear it all the time how important it is to take care of those around you and why. You most likely will ask why is service to others so valuable? The answer is simple. When you decide to notice, when you choose to act and begin to make a difference you have taken the first step in changing the world.
You want to ask yourself this question but the what’s in it for me the question will pop in and be around you in many different forms. The greatest reward of serving others is how it makes you feel about yourself. That special feeling is a way of telling you, thank you for caring and making a difference in the world, no matter how small. A genuine commitment to others is ultimately a commitment to your higher calling.
Give your time and talent ( we all have hidden talents we aren’t even aware of until we are asked to help). Give of yourself with a happy and loving heart. It is when you do this that you realize that your actions in the name of service imitate the love of Christ whether you are religious or not. A rewarding sense of duty will be what becomes a blessing and a gift that enhances your lifestyle.
Community and customer service are important for many reasons. Taking part and volunteering teaches compassion and understanding. One of the favorite things about community service is that there are opportunities and choices right in your neighborhood. The beauty is that you can volunteer for something that you believe and have an interest in, and when volunteering as much or as little as you’d like, or have time to get involved with in either work or your community.
What we know for sure is that all service is good, but let’s end with community service which can be fun and rewarding. It can also look good on your resume or college application. You will appear as more of a well-rounded individual, and will be seen as someone who gives back and everyone values that mindset. Don’t turn away from service embrace it and grow beyond what your purpose is empowering others with your gifts.
Until the next time, take good care and be well.
